About
About Varalys.
A small open source software studio building developer tools for local AI and code workflows.
Varalys builds open source tools for developers. Projects run locally, keep your data to themselves, and are free to use, inspect, and modify. There are no accounts to create and no telemetry to opt out of.
What we build
Lore is a reasoning history for code. Capture AI coding sessions, trace any line to the AI conversation that produced it, and sync it through your own git remotes.
Redactyl is a deep artifact scanner for cloud-native environments. Find secrets hiding in container images, Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, and nested archives.
How we work
- Open by default. Source is public, development happens in the open, and the licenses let you build without asking permission.
- Built for clarity. Documentation-first tools with simple mental models. Nothing hidden, nothing to guess at.
- Private by design. Local-first and zero-telemetry. Your code, secrets, and reasoning never leave your machine.
Everything lives on GitHub. Issues and pull requests are welcome.
